Climate Change in the Past, Present and Future
Earth's climate has experienced tremendous change throughout Earth history, from ice ages to greenhouse worlds, and is currently undergoing unprecedented warming due to human activities. The Climate Change Research Group at the University of Michigan, led by Professor Chris Poulsen, investigates the dynamics of these changes using both theoretical and observational methods in order to ultimately understand how the climate system operates.

10 Sept. Rich accepts a Postdoctoral Position with the Inter-university Training for Continental-ecology program at the University of Utah to start in 2016.
6. Sept. Dan Horton (PhD 2011) accepts position as Assistant Professor in the Dept of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Northwestern University.
28 Aug. Ran defends her dissertation: "Detangling climate and topographic history from Cenozoic proxy records: Examples from western North America and the Andes-eastern tropical Pacific"

15 Jun. Clay and Ran attend the 20th Annual CESM Workshop in Breckenridge, CO.
27 May. Chris attended a workshop on climate-erosion-tectonic interactions in Taiwan and saw former lab members Shih-Yu Lee and Nadja Insel.
